What a joyful Saturday at Southern Oaks!
Saturday 13th December, Southern Oaks Nonsuch.
Our wonderful volunteers brought the festive spirit to life with a heart-warming singalong.
Having carefully planned the event, chosen the songs, and practiced tirelessly in the lead-up, it was a real delight to see residents joining in too.
Fresh from their success the week before at the Age Concern gig, our brilliant Stringalong ukulele players accompanied the singing once again.
A special mention goes to Heather from York Road, one of our supported living houses, who treated us to her beautifully creative rendition of a poem about the reindeer, a moment that truly captured the magic of the season.
After the singalong, everyone gathered downstairs to enjoy a sumptuous festive buffet, complete with mulled wine and mince pies. With such a great turnout and so many smiling faces, it was a wonderful way to celebrate together.
Thank you to everyone who made this event so special!
