Residents and their families and friends enjoyed a delightful barbecue feast and also raised £195 for the residents’ amenity fund
Sunday, 16th August, Ewell
On Sunday, our vibrant community at Southern Oaks Nonsuch warmly welcomed family members, friends, and sponsors to join in the festivities for our much-anticipated Annual Family Day. This annual event is becoming a cherished tradition.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the sumptuous hot smoked barbecue with tender smoked lamb, succulent turkey, and tasty gammon. Accompanying these were a variety of fresh salads, alongside braised red cabbage, long-stem broccoli and crushed garlic potatoes.
As residents and their guests mingled and shared stories, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy. Many commented on how lovely it was to spend quality time with their loved ones, creating further memories that help add to the spirit of Southern Oaks Nonsuch community.
Adding to the day’s success, we raised an impressive £195 through a Tombola event in support of our residents’ amenity fund. It was hosted by two of our wonderful volunteers, Debbie and Anne.
Overall, it was a wonderful day filled with warmth and laughter. We felt truly privileged to spend quality time with the families and friends of our residents, reinforcing the connections that make Southern Oaks Nonsuch not just a place to live, but one of love and support.
We look forward to many more gatherings like this in the future.
