Fundraiser fun for Purley Knoll Supported Living House – Friday, 17th October
What a fantastic afternoon! The Purley Rock Choir* brought the house down at Christ Church Purley with a feel-good setlist including classics like “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Video Killed the Radio Star,” and “Don’t Stop Me Now.”
We welcomed an even bigger crowd than last year – with residents from Southern Oaks Nonsuch and Purley Knoll arriving in style on the Southern Oaks minibus. A big shout-out to the amazing volunteers at Purley Knoll for organising such a joyful event.
During the interval, guests were treated to delicious homemade cakes and tea, lovingly served by a resident’s daughter and son-in-law – who even stayed to do the washing-up!
We’re still tallying the donations, but we’re thrilled to report that we’ve nearly hit the £300 mark – incredible!
To everyone who sang, danced, clapped, donated, or simply enjoyed the afternoon – thank you for making it so special. See you next time!
